Sathabhishekam (80th Birthday)
When a man turns 81, family members organize Sathabhishekam (80th Birthday Pooja) and celebrate it together and perform Ayul Shanthi Homams, Kalasha abhiseka followed by exchanging garlands for the couple to get the blessings of the lord. Sathabhishekam is also known as Ayul Shanthi Homam as the ceremony prolongs the life of the couple and gives them good health and strength.
